About Me
First let me congratulate you that you have reached the 'About' page that means you are interested to know a bit more :) As you already know I am a freelance cartoonist & illustrator and doing it professionally from a home-based studio located in Kolkata, a city in eastern part of India.
How did it all start?
Like most cartoonist it started from early childhood by doodling in books & copies but the seed were sown by my grand uncle who introduced comics to me when I was about 7 years old. Those regular dose of comics had the magnetic attraction & I was attracted toward comics & various types of cartoons on TV. Then I completed graduation & post graduation & started working & had 11 years of corporate experience then suddenly I had jaundice, I became very sick & had to leave my job as I was into night shift. Then I took a risk & challenge & did a course in graphic design & started afresh. The initial few years were tough but then I found my best teacher in internet & learned all the tips & tricks about illustration & almost everything about life.
The type of person you are about to hire
I always want to try out things be it food, a place, new style of illustration & maybe a game or sport. My policy is I always try out things before rejecting or accepting it. Also I try to find humor & take it out wherever possible in my projects. My aim is to try & help as many people reach their goals professionally & otherwise by giving them quality service & advice.
